Joshua Coggeshall was a son of John Coggeshall and Mary Holmes or Hodge.
Joshua had 3 brothers and 4 sisters. One of the sisters was indeed a
Mary Coggeshall, born about 1624. She was alive and mentioned in her
father's will of April 16, 1645, and was not married at that time.

However, she could not have been the wife of William Chase because his
estimated marriage date was 1621, before she was even born.
