My ggg grandfather was Samuel Chase married to Susanna (Chase) Chase. I don't know anymore about him except that he was from RI and helped settle Amsterdam, NY around 1811, I've read that he had seven children, one of them John B (b.1801 d.1881)gg gr. Does anyone have these people in their ancestry? Also, does anyone know who the wife was of the Samuel Chase that signed the Declaration of Independence? Thanks for any help.
