Since there is no record that can tie the Hampton/Newbury Aquila and Thomas
back to anywhere (or anybody) in England, it would seem that the reference
about confiscated property either refers to another Aquila and Thomas
(whoever they might be ???), or, more likely is just another one of those
stories from the past that have no basis in fact. Also, to the best of my
knowledge there is neither an Eliphet nor an Equilla to be found in the
Chases of Chesham.
