To Keith and all Chase Members
I am not sure what the privacy law in British Columbia will restrict exactly? I just wanted to be safe as the law took effect Jan 1 2004. I have sent an email to a privacy area of the Provincial Government and they have given me places to inquire at the Federal level as the Internet is more their concern. I will get back to the list shortly with more detailed info if possible (you know governments, LOL). So I will let the database stand as is, so I jumped the gun Keith, sorry. It is becoming more of a concern.
I am inquiring if putting someone as a source and quoting their email address might be a problem also. I would think that giving one information about family would be implicit consent to put the email as a source so long as permission was given to add it to an online database.
