In 1711 there was a William Hutcheson from Prince George Co., MD. The
Hutcheson's aren't really in my lineage and fade out before the 1800's. So,
anything around the Civil War era I would not be able to help you with. (At
least I don't think so.) If you have any more question feel free to ask,
but I have very little on this surname.
