Howard,
The way my HUTCHESONs connect to the CHASTAINs is by the marriage of me
and my husband. His mother was born a CHASTAIN.
But there was a woman, not too sure of her maiden name that married a man
with the last name of HUTCHESON (who is related to my family, but way off my
line)
When Mr HUTCHESON died she keeping that name married a CHASTAIN (not too
far off my husbands line)
Regarding my HUTCHESONs we track them about to the late 1790s around Monroe,
Greene Co TN then over to McNairy Co., TN then down to Tishomingo Co., MS,
then over to the Northern area of AR. (that is where the above marriage took
place)
then the last place they moved was to Bolivar, Polk Co., MO. (Late 1850s to
early
1860s) Until that time most of the children and their families moved
together by wagon,
with many other familes. After they settled in MO, some of the children
began to branch
off on their own. It is believed that there are many family
members...uncles, cousins...etc
that lived and stayed in AR, while my line moved north.
Have you checked the LDS records I remember something about a HUTCHESON
man and a CHASTAIN woman. Actually I shock my head, not wanting to open a
whole new can of worms and click off and went to bed....<smile>
I don't think any of this helped you, let me know if I am wrong...
Happy hunting
Lee Ann Hutcheson/Griffin
