Looking for more information on Penelope and Benjamin Chavis listed on the 1880 census in Stewartsville Richmond Co. N.C. Penelope and Benjamin are listed with John and Sandy in the house hold. On the 1900 Census in Stewartsville, Scotland, North Carolina Sandy and Penelope are listed as neighbors. Anyone with informtion on this Chavis famiy please help the location is known as Laurinburg Scotland Co. North Carolina. This town is located on the N.C. and S.C. state line.
