I don't know where in CA. you live but I will be thier.
When I was growing up we always said cronbread and sweet milk so no one
would give me butter milk (uck). My exbotherinlaw in the Fresno area
grew some of the best Okra I have ever seen. I love fried Okra, and MOM
made a side dish of tomatos and okra. Never was a fan of greens but who
knows , now that I am almost sixty and haven't had them for fifty yrs.
I might like them.
I will bring a bottle 1999 Chataux RIPPLE It shoud go well with your
menu. <LOL>
