Pope Co. is farther into AR., almost middle, near Yell Co.. Pocahontas is
in Randolph Co. borders MO, Pocahontas being about 50 miles from Poplar
Bluff, MO. My late husband was born in Oregon Co., MO., two counties away
from Ozark Co., MO., both on the border of AR.
