Hello All,
As a new subscriber I was asked to introduce myself, and also give some
idea of my areas of interest. So Here goes. My name is Geoff BONE, and I
live on the Capricorn coast in Queensland, one of the most beautifull places
on Gods earth.
Too old to care and too young to die.
My interest in the County Of Cheshire is as follows:-
My G/Father Job BONE marriage certificate is in my hand and reads.
Marriage of Job BONE and Mary Anne WOOLLEY 22nd. Sept. 1845
1845 the Marriage solemnized at the Parish Church,Parish of St John, Chester
no.213 Sept.22
Name age condition Rank Res.at time of marr Father Rank or Prof
Job BONE 22 Batchelor Tailor Forgate St. Jamieson BONE Stonemason
Mary Ann William Henry Professor
WOOLLEY 21 Spinster ------- Forgate St WOOLLEY of Music
Witness Jane WOOLLEY and Charles DOYLE

I have written to the Dean of Chester Cathedral and also to the Colledge
without any success in search of this Professor of Music, and have no further
ideas. I would really appreciate any leads of who to contact next. I have the
Wedding Cert. and as Job BONE was a resident of Belhaven, East Lothian,
Scotland I wonder the how and why's of him going to Chester. I have also looked
at the Lothians lists with no success. Maybe William Henry was a barrel
organ player giving himself a boost when filling in the marriage cert.
As you can see my search may be short and small, as these WOOLLEY's
may be itinerant and natives of another district alltogether. But I am still
looking after many years.
Geof
