Hello fellow Cheshire researchers,

My name is Diana Beaumont and for the past five years we (husband
Michael and myself) have been researching his Beaumont ancestors who
migrated from Penistone in Yorkshire to Dukinfield in Cheshire
(sometimes Lancashire?).

We'd been delighted to find anyone who has a BEAUMONT connection in the
area, dating from the mid-1800's. Collateral families who married into
and out of the Beaumonts in the Dukinfield area include FLETCHER,
RO(D)GERS, and CARTWRIGHT.

This past April we traveled to Dukinfield from our home in the United
States to visit Staleybridge Library in Tameside as well as the Chester
Records Office, but alas! Not enough time! We hope to come again
perhaps next year, but until then we may ask for help or advice from
time to time. And in return, we are happy to share our research with
anyone who asks!
