In a similar fashion I grew up in England and never showed an interest
in the family history until now. I live on Vancouver Island and
believe me would love a trip home just to check records.

The names in Cheshire that I am researching are Parkinson, I found my
G.Grandmother in the 1881 Census, She was widowed at that time and I
believe later re-married a John Bendall but so far no trace of a
Bendall can be found....sigh...

In the 1881 Census my Grandmother Annie Parkinson was 1 year old, she
had a brother George and her father John Parkinson was deceased.
