Subject: [CHESHIRE-L] Spellmans in Stockport

If anyone has access to the 1861 census for Stockport, England, I would LOVE
to have information on my great-great-grandparents. I am trying to determine
if my Spellmans/Spelmans were in Stockport when the 1861 census was taken. My
grandfather was born there in 1870 so I know they were there for the 1871
census.

I would be looking for a John Spellman/Spelman and Liza Blackwell
Spellman/Spelman and their family. The only child I know of is their son
Edward, who was born around 1850. I am most interested in knowing if
my great-grandfather, Edward, had any siblings.
