There seem to be many more people joining the list so I thought I would share
the names I am looking for in the area of Stockport.
SPELLMAN/SPELMAN
HUGHES
BLACKWELL
KERSHAW
WILLIAMSON

John Spellman/Spelman married Liza Blackwell and had a son Edward who married
Ann Hughes, daughter of James Hughes and Eliza Kershaw.

I believe Ann's sister married Samuel Williamson.

I am pretty sure I still have relatives in the area (they were originally from
the Heaton Norris section: Robert, Mary, Elizabeth, Frank, and Thomas). I have
written to several Hughes whose addresses I found in the phone book but have
had no luck finding my family. Hughes is not an uncommon name. If anyone knows
any Hughes families in this area I would be forever grateful for any help in
locating my family.
