I have BROWNS from Cheshire, but the strange thing is I also have a Marjorie
Vera GRIGGS.date of birth was probably during the early 1900's
My Browns are :
Isaac BROWN born 1826 Knutsford, Cheshire. married to Harriet OVEREND.
Children:
Agnes BROWN b. 1869 Pownall Fee, Wilmslow, Cheshire.

All my Brown's in Cheshire come from Chester and Macclesfield as far as I
know. Where did your Marjorie Griggs come from? Any connection with Essex the
Stansted area perhaps.Will keep your e-mail on file and let you know if I come
across Isaac Brown, but Brown being a very common surname, we will have to be
very luckly to find a connection.But it is strange that we have two names in
common so you never know!
