No mention of BRIERL(E)Y..sorry..but there is a reference to RENSHAW
inBOWDEN WILLS 1600-1650:
Edmund Simson of Bowdon,Yeoman 1611
Inventory dated 20th February,1610/11
Appraisers:George Bowdon of Bowdon the elder, gentleman,William
Saunders,Alexander Vawdrey,Thomas RENSHAW,William Moores,Roger Moores and
John Drinkwater.
(Then follows two pages of inventory)
In the notes it says:
The appraisers were some of the most eminent men in Bowdon.
It gives details of all the men except of course RENSHAW and the two
MOORES..but I would anticipate that it meant all of them were men of
standing.

Kind regards
Pauline :-)
