I am researching the following families in various parts of Great Budworth- awfully hard to read the microfilm.Ryder/Rider,Yarwood,Dickens,lLowe, Burrows, Fearnhead, Berry, Howard, Webb, Woodier and Birtles.
I have a list of Hazlehursts/Haslehursts mostly in Frodsham. It was given to me and sofar I havent been able to connect to this branch. The story includes elopement of John Haslehurst, the coachman, and Grace Roscoe, disinhertment, forgery and suspected murder, all brought on by a solemn curse form a slaveship. the family had kept detailed records for a law suit which they expected to take place after 99 years. The case dragged on into the mid C19. My Isaac Hazlehurst was born about 1750, and I cant find his birth.anywhere. He was married in Warrington.
I was pleased to find this page and look forward to exchanging information with other searchers. Surely Cheshire men are not called cheesheads!
