There is a Caernarvon Castle pub on Bidston Road, Oxton, Birkenhead. I'm =
fairly sure it is a 20th century building and do not know if there was =
another pub of the same name on the site before that.

Hi! There has been so much interesting information lately I have =
been wondering if anyone has ever heard of a CARNARVON CASTLE or =
CARNARVON ARMS pub in the Birkenhead/Liverpool area. We have a family =
story that keeps popping up through several branches of the family that =
at one time the Thomas family had/ran/established such a pub. No solid =
proof has surfaced except in one directory someone found an "Ann Thomas" =
as owner (I believe) of a Carnarvon Castle pub in Liverpool circa =
1860-1870. Can anyone help? Thanks. Lil
