He could possibly have just turned 16 when he married, but this would not
count as full age (18 or 21?). More likely his age was recorded
incorrectly by the workhouse and he was older than it was thought.

Looks suspiciously like Poole, Dorset to me. Not sure what the CHS
reference is doing if that is the case.
