Hi .
I am one that wanted to know about Hockenhull, the name comes into my
research when John Hockenhull married Mary Angell, 11 September 1669.
in Crowhurst, Surrey.
They had a daughter Anne, who married Valentine Short, 10 August 1686.
Sharewick / Shotwick ????? Cheshire.
They had 4 children, one being Anne born 1692, who married a Gentleman
name DOVE, thats who I am looking for, any thing on him.

John was baptized June 1637, in Tarvin, Cheshire.
Son of Joseph Hockenhull and Elizabeth Davies, Joseph descended from
Swanus de Hockenhull, in the time of Richard I, around 1189.
Don't ask me to fill in that space.
So I am interested in the place Hockenhull, also the name.
Can any one shed a light on this MR DOVE.
