Hello to the kind person who answered my query just recently about a look up for Edge. I seem to have accidentally deleted your message before I could answer.
You asked did I have access to the GRO. and suggested getting a birth cert.
The library near me has just acquired St.Cath and it will be available to look at in the New Year. If the I.G.I. are anything to go by there are literally dozens of John Edges in Cheshire and I don't know his parents names.
