I can not get any further back in my tree than-

JOHN BELLIS, shipwright, married ANN JONES in St Johns Church, CHESTER
19/6/1838. JOHN BELLIS could have been from Handbridge.
Their son, SAMUEL BELLIS, was my g/grandfather. He came to Queensland,
Australia in 1884.

Any information on these surnames would be appreciated.
