You can tell where many people come from sometimes by their reply
address. e.g. where those who have .au at the end must surely come
from Down Under? And .co.uk is self explanatory.
Also if you are reading all your downloaded emails, you can if the
sender gives it away tell where they are coming from.
So we are left with those who do not say and give no clues.
You could ask for a poll, although 750 emails might take a long time
to download, or in the course of communication you could ask directly.
Of course this poll would be a goldmine for a spammer who might sell
750 email addresses to another spammer.
I respectfully propose that we should let people give up what information
about themselves that they feel they should, even if this is nil.
