Subject: [CHS] GROVES (Nehemiah) of Mottram and Glossop

Looking for more information on the family of Nehemiah Groves who lived in or
near Padfield and Hadfield, parish of Glossop. He must not have been too
fond of the local C of E using nonconformist church in Tintwistle, (CHS) as
well as the parish church in Mottram, CHS to have his children baptized, but
he was buried at Glossop.

I can trace most of the children and their issue down through the 1800's but
have not a clue from whence Nehemiah came. All the Nehemiah entries on IGI
are of his family in Glossop and Mottram area and so far, no further evidence.

Has anyone seen Nehemiah?
