I also remember helping my late Mum with the mangle down our celler, What
about the Dolly tub's and the Posser?

I also remember helping my grandmother with the mangle. The fun was in
turning the handle so
quickly that when the last of the washing had gone through the handle would
go on spinning round
with the rollers dancing madly on their axles.
