Or is it indices?.

Someone out there deserves a Nobel Prize for Genealogy.
First the FHS of Cheshire come up with several indexes and then, a week or
so later the S Ches FHS produce indexes which are splendidly searchable. We
are now promised birth indexes too! We can now go to our various research
rooms armed with much more accurate info about the events we seek. This must
help to reduce the time each of us spends in winding and re-winding films.
