Hello Listers,

I'm reposting my interests as I can't get beyond my brick wall.

Could somebody please tell me how to search, from this distance of New
Zealand, the 1851, 1861, 1871 Census records. I have the 1881 Census
details of this branch of my family. Also, how can I examine Cemetery Records?

James CROSS (occupation Waterman) (b. Barnton) married to
Jane SHAW

Their son, John CROSS (b. 17 Dec 1847 Witton)(occupation Waterman).
According to the 1881 Census, aboard his vessel "Austria" at Liverpool on
Census Night.

His wife Elizabeth CROSS (nee BLOWER) (b. 1845/6) Head of Household on
Census Night, Place : 53 London Road, Leftwich.

Their children :

Elizabeth CROSS (b. 19 May 1875 at Northwich) : married George RATHBONE of
Northwich. She died in 1956 at Disley Cheshire.
Children : Winifred Ellen
Doreen Garyth

Alfred b. 1876? at Northwich) : married Sarah (Sally) LANGSTON
Children : John (Jack)
Roland
Florence (Floss)

John (known as Jack) (b. 1880? at Northwich) : married Margaret (Maggie) STAGG
Child : Isobel Margaret

Ethel (b. 1888? at Northwich) : married Louis ROSE
Child : Dilys May (m. George ROUGHSEDGE)

Any guidance would be gratefully received
