Hi Listers,

My thanks to Chris and Larue for their replies. I realised that Elizabeth
1st had introduced the C of E in 1558, but I had thought that Roman
Catholics were tolerated by her rule, so I had thought that there would have
been Roman Catholic Churches in that era.
