Thank you all so much for your input. After doing some research I realized
that my dad was in the camp in Little Sutton. He spoke about Italians and I
can remember him talking about making toys and giving them to the local
kids. I actually have a wooden chess set and a wooden set of checkers that
he made while a POW.
