To all of you on the List who replied to my first E-mail, I thank you very
much, I will reply to most of you when I have sorted thing out. I must
apologise for a slight error, I am an EX -Macclesfield man having moved down
South a considerable time ago, so I am in the position of having to rely on
the Net, or Post.. I have found the Macclesfield Record Office very helpful.
One query I have: are there many instances of people missing from the 1881
Census. I cannot find any trace of a G>G>uncle and his two children, Married
in 1872, first child in 1873, second child in 1874 and a third in 1876. This
last one was in Hospital and was the only one recorded. It may be possible
that the GG Uncle and his wife had died, but I personally knew the two
Children. Again, many thanks...John (as my Son says...NOT HIM)
