* The list-of-subscribers records only email addresses. It does not record
postal addresses. The above information has been taken from the last three
characters of subscribers' email addresses which *should* show the country
or origin. However, this may not show the full picture because many people
have "foreign" email addresses. For example, the ISPs AOL and MSN give USA
addresses to their UK subscribers. Thus the UK number in the above list is
understated, and the USA figure is overstated.

I would have expected to find more Irish and Canadian subscribers. Perhaps
their numbers are similarly understated. I would be curious to know how
many non-USA subscribers have USA (.com .net .org .edu) addresses. That is
just idle curiosity on my part, not an official request. If you do reply
please do so off list.
