Dear All
Anyone solve this little riddle for me!! Seen twice recently on early census
entries, boys of age 7 & 8 described as son-in-law to the head of household.
Is there another definition of son-in-law, other than a daughter's husband,
that would explain who these young boys were!! They had different surnames
to the rest of the family.
