This is a much busier list than I anticipated. How very helpful to get so many urls in the first lists I received! I am just beginning to search for my husband's family. I am new to British records, although I have done a good deal in US records. My husband had a letter dated 1825 announcing the birth of twins to John and Ellen Monks Liptrot of Macclesfield. I found the record of their marriage in the IGI. I need to document the connection to the BARDSLEY line. Does anyone know where I might find the records of St. Matthews Church, Stockport?
