Subject: [CHS] FOUND John Rutter of Crowton !!!!!!!!!!!!.
Date: Wed, 1 Aug 2001 10:38:38 EDT
Hi all,
I hope you forgive my excitement and indulge my ramblings for a little while.
Almost 2 years ago exactly after having found my husbands Grt-Grandfather and
family on the 1881census we joined this list hoping to find info/connection
to the above named John RUTTER born circa 1820 (as per census), we've checked
every concievable parish register looking for his birth, noted all possible
Rutter families around Weaverham, Northwich and even Warrington areas for
1841/51.
At last we have found his christening, a little earlier than anticipated
taking place at Frodsham St.Lawrence.
John Rutter son of John and Hannah (Youd) of Crowton christened 20th Nov.
1813.
however all our previous scrbblings have not gone unrewarded as, having
confirmed
his parentage, we have siblings names and some of their spouses, we have the
tithe apportionments listed for 2x Grt Grandfathers holdings at Mouldsworth.
and the 1851 census provided us with the extra bonus of Hannah YOUDs parents
names and approx. dates of birth.
Thank you all for reading this, I will list other info/request seperately.
Regards.
Ann.M.Rutter.
