These excerpts from an email to me from Bill McCartney may be of interest to
you.
"Copies of the Inscriptions on the Gravestones in the enclosed portion of
the Churchyard and on the Monuments, brasses and windows of the Parish
Church of Bowdon" produced in 1888 by George H Hankinson, Solicitor of
Altrincham available at John Rylands Library, Manchester." This is a
handwritten booklet produced at the end of the 19th century which details
the Bowdon Churchyard at that time. I do not know how comprehensive it is
as I have only used it as reference. Unfortunately I think that John
Rayland's Library has the only copy. They have a website (maybe through
Manchester University) and are contactable by email if you wish to enquire
further.
