I haven't got anyone marrying particularly soon after, but I've got a gt.gt.
aunt who married, then promptly died 3 months later. Her husband fathered a
son born less 9 months after her death (clearly didn't spend a lot of
time grieving).

I also get the impression that her parents didn't think much of him as she
was buried in their family grave with the rather pointed inscription "With
Christ, which is much
better".
