Donald,

>>As you will know, while these CDs will print out all Census details,
according to the instructions they will not save the relationship and
occupation. However, while I was editing some saved pages, I brushed an
unintended key (alas I do not know which) and these detaiuls appeared in
addition to the tab marks normally concealed.<<

It sounds as if you are saving the details as RTF files and then editing
them in a word processor such as Word. Word treats the relationship and
occupation fields as "hidden text". You can reveal the text, by checking
the "hidden text" box under Tools | Options | View. (If you tell me which
word processor you are using, I can tell you which key you accidentally
hit).

Alternatively, just save the details as a text file (.txt) -- this solves
the hidden text problem.
