Dear Gail, Yes it is a wonderful hobby especially when you get good news. I
have just found someone I have been searching for for 6 years. I am as high
as a kite with pleasure. Hip Hip hurray for Oxfordshire. I am a very happy
bunny now.
My Ann HEWARD was married to John KELSALL in 1776 at Ashton on Mersey. John
was a husbandman OTP and Ann was of the parish of Stretford. The witnesses
were William WILLIAMSON, Thomas HALL and the Parish clerk. I have not found
a HEWARD family at that time or place. I did find a William HOWARD at
Altringham and I have his will. His wife was called Ann but there is no
reference to a daughter Ann even though he mentions a son in law called John
ECCLES, he doesn't mention a KELSALL in the will But James KELSALL was a
witness to the will. What do you make of that? Regards Joan at Devon
