Dear Michael, First of all thank you. My ancestor was Ann HEWARD or HOWARD.
I have my record that is HOWARD and Bertram Merrill Index that says HEWARD
and now I am not certain which it is. She was married to John KELSALL at
Ashton on Mersey in 1776. The Marriage lines say she was from the Parish of
Stretford and I estimate she was born around 1756. I have not found any
HEWARD?HOWARD baptisms for that time at A on M. I have checked St Michaels
Stretford and Fixton. I have sent for the fiche for St Mary's Bowdon to re
check there. It could well be that your friend from Flixton was related but
I would have to find her family to do that and so far I only have her. I
have a will for a William but no evidence to match him to Ann until I find
