I am also new to the list. I am searching for Martha BLACKSHAW who married
John HOLT, a weaver, at Bowdon on 14 May 1798.

I have found one possibility in Martha, daughter of William BLACKSHAW
baptized 6 Jan 1760 at Marton by Congleton; however, I am not sure that
these Marthas are one and the same.

Can anyone shed some light on this?
