Hi everyone,

I am looking for the birth of THOMAS WRIGHT my great grandfather. He was born about 1851 or 2. He died 26th March 1880 age 28. He was a railway signalman and lived at Spring Cottages, Runcorn. The death was reported by AGNES HINDE who had been present at the death and she lived at 35 Shaw St., Runcorn. On the 1881 census Thomas' widow Elizabeth age 30, dressmaker and daughter Florence, 5 months were living at 50 Shaw St., Runcorn.

Perhaps I should mention that my name is a coincidence. My husband's family had no prior connection to mine so far as we know. Wright being a very common name may be part of the problem.

I have looked at the FreeBMD and the Cheshire BMD with no luck. If anyone has come across these people I would be delighted to hear. Thank you in advance.
