I seem to recall that someone enquired about BOWDENs in Dukinfield recently.

By chance I was looking at the family tree of family friends today and came
across a BOWDEN from Dukinfield. Ellen BOWDEN of Dukinfield married James
Henry Ferns at St Marks Church Gorton on 15 December 1878. She died on 7 July
1915 aged 58 and is buried at St Paul's church Stalybridge. If this is of any
relevance I may be able to get more information about her from the family
concerned.
