If they were married at Manchester Cathedral you won't find them on
Cheshire BMD. It is/was in Lancashire.

You may find it on FreeBMD or IGI. You can order certificates (if after
1837) from:

Not unless you know which part of Cheshire they lived in. Most marriages
for 1852 are covered on the CheshireBMD site, but there are still gaps
in the north of the county around Runcorn, Stockport and Tameside.
