Hello Claire - This may get a - no - reply but I have to at least try.
Would the Air Force Command include the crew such as those who flew with them
but maintained the runways say in France so they could land and be able to
take off again? My uncle Ronald Evans flew such missions and he said thats
what he did repaired the runways as they were always be bombed and full of
holes. Here`s hoping just in case. Joyce
