My street map of Crewe (undated, but fairly recent) shows Sandon Street
lying between, and parallel to, Prince Albert Street and Market Street.

The best pictures of railway cottages are in "Images of England - CREWE"
compiled by Brian Edge. Tempus Publishing Limited, The Mill, Brimscombe
Port, Stroud, Gloucestershire GL5 2QG. ISBN 0 7524 0000 0. First
published 1994, reprinted 2000. Unfortunately, the book has no pictures of
Sandon Street, but one can get a good idea of the style of the housing
built by the railway company for its employees.
