Many, many thanks to all those who replied to my request for help with the
1851 transcriptions of Northen Etchells.

Thanks especially to Malcom, Andrea and Debbie. As I have said in my emails
to you all I've had a bad day in Manchester Central Library (reading the
whole of 1872 and 1894 Stockport Advertiser on Microfilm). If you ever feel
like punishing yourselves don't bother with a hairshirt or a whip, just try
and park near Manchester Central Library, in the rain, then find a microfilm
reader and the appropriate film and read. Now that is what I call S & M.
