Can anyone give me info on the John McKay who on the 1881 census was living
at 20 Cathcart St, Birkenhead, Cheshire aged 60 yrs? Living their with wife
Ann and children. I need to establish if this is the John McKay I am looking
for. My John was bap 21 Nov 1824 Whitsome and Hilton, Berwick, Scotland,
born Swinton, Berwick. His parents John McKay and Agnes Landells of Swinton,
Berwick. He was listed on 1841 census for Swinton Berwick aged 15 yrs and
after that I cannot find anything. Can anyone help?
