Colin -
These probably are just variant spellings of the same name. The best source
for sorting it out is the English Place Name Society's volumes on Cheshire,
if you're near a library that could get them for you.
Good Luck!

Hello,

My ancestors are variously described as living at "Riddal Heath",
"Rhuddall Heath" and "Rudshell Heath" in different censuses and
Tarporley PR's. Can anyone tell me if these are just variations in
spelling or are there several different area's with these names?

Thanks in advance,

Colin.
