The North Cheshire Herald would be your best bet and I would go along with
the suggestion of Hyde Grammar (my alma mater!) Your problem is the lack of
a date. I know from my Yesterdays experience how much effort it takes to
plough through so much film, otherwise I would volunteer a look-up. I
suppose it is a remote possibility that some of the school records might
still be available somewhere which might record the event. It is now Hyde
College of Technology and can be emailed at .
