Subject: [CHS] Male lines!!

Couldn't help replying to Ricky's throw away line "I can't verify females
because I tend to follow the male line (don't we all?)" (BIRD/COOPER,
earlier today) No we don't!! I'm as much part of my female ancestors as I am
the male line. I do wonder though if this is a female point of view. Are
female listers following all lines of their tree? Do males only follow their
surname line? Am I being stereotypically thinking like this? I certainly
don't want to provoke an arguement but a few replies would be interesting.
Best wishes
